The Old Woman Who Lived In A Shoe

‘The Old Woman Who Lived In A Shoe’ is a quirky, humorous and highly entertaining children' pantomime which will enchant and delight children and adults alike. It has already performed to sell out crowds, receiving accolades and ovations from audiences, captivated by the colorful characters who weave a story of adventure, love, magic and good verses evil. It is a fairytale written by Christine Bain, derived from the well known children’s nursery rhyme. The music is foot tapping and catchy, and covers a wide range of styles, from ballads to instrumentals to rock and roll, pop and jazz, which will appeal to all tastes. It has been likened to animated Disney films, using a similar style of music and humour to mesmerize and enthrall audiences and leave them with a positive message; that we should love and accept all people, and that violence isn't always the way to resolve conflict. Following its success, this pantomime has also been made into a children's book.

“Although it’s a moving story the show is also loads of fun with many jokes and characters that will leave you laughing long after you leave.”
Pulse News (Theatre Arts)

“It features 17 original songs in the style of Alan Menkin of Disney Fame...
it's a magical tale.”
